The Dynamic Heart Rate Control adjusts the intensity level based on your heart rate. Intuitive Dual Platform Pedals and Skate-Style straps allows customized adjustment. Seating comfort and adjustment is ensured by the Easy-Up Adjust. Workout includes 20 levels of intensity. There are 6 training programs included. Performance statistics on heart rate, RPM, distance, resistance level and calories burned are monitored through the LCD console that also features large buttons that are clearly visible.
The S-series models are S-UB and S-UBx. Other notable upright bicycles include the P-UB, E-UB, E-UBi, E-UBe, 4610 and 8610 upright bicycle models. The E-UBi and E-UBe versions allow the rider to view videos in their own video iPods through the 15" personal viewing screen, while working out.
Star-Trac also lines up an impressive lineup of recument bicycles. These are the S-RB, S-RBx, P-RB, E-RB, E-RBe, E-RBi, 4705, 4710 and 4730. The latter three have mesh backseats that allow good ventilation. The walk-through designs in all the recumbent bikes allow easy entry and exit.
